About the Architecture Centre
The Architecture Centre is an independent, not-for-profit organisation that champions better buildings and places for everyone. Through our diverse and cross-disciplinary programmes we inform and inspire people about the possibilities of good design, and encourage everyone to get involved.
Architecture is a fundamental part of our cultural heritage and the 'art form' with the greatest impact on everyone’s daily life. We work to foster a greater understanding and enjoyment of architecture and demonstrate the benefits of a better and more sustainable built environment. Our work includes:
- Exhibitions, talks, visits and other events
- Learning and outreach projects with young people and communities
- Design advocacy and support
Our gallery is open to the public 5 days a week and entry is free (we are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays).
